Durand purchase. Served cold into a pint glass. Canned June 15, 2023. Review from notes.
Appearance - Very hazy yellowy-gold brew with white highlights. A finger plus of decadent white head is poured and stays for a while. Sparse lacing left behind.
Smell - A tropical medley at first with some weediness in behind. Mango and pineapple are there for sure with some other fruits thrown in.
Taste - Mango and pineapple with initially some sweetness and fruitiness followed up by some dank hop oils. Malt is hard to find here.
Mouthfeel - Lightly carbonated, easy to drink, medium-full bodied and pretty creamy and juicy.
Overall - A solid if not spectacular IPA from Wood Brothers, they've released better brew and also worse brews. With that said it still compares well with other local offerings..
