473 ml can served cold into a pint glass. Durand purchase. Canned August 3, 2023.
Appearance - Rather hazy and turbid yellowy gold brew with a finger plus of white frothy head. Good staying power.
Smell - Lots of citrus, passionfruit with some orange and a pinch of grapefruit leading the way, Lemon zest too.
Taste - Passionfruit with grapefruit and orange again, the grapefruit and passionfruit combo leads the way. Fairly bitter, big citrus impact, flavor lasts a long time on the tastebuds. Booze is sort of disguised, but definitely a stronger ABV beer by flavor alone.
Mouthfeel - Medium-full bodied, spritzy carbonation, astringent hop oil and prickly finish. Booziness throughout but not overwhelming.
Overall - A more citrus focused DIPA with a real nice degree of bitterness that sometimes gets lost in the world of sweet and juicy DIPA's. A welcome addition and quite tasty if you can find it.
