473 ml can served cold into a pint glass. Durand purchase and canned February 22, 2024.
Appearance - Super hazy and turbid yellowy gold color with honey brown highlights. A half finger of foamy white head is poured and recedes quickly. Juice-like in appearance.
Smell - Overripe mango with some weedy greens. A splash of passionfruit. Not the most intense.
Taste - Dank and green with low bitterness. Some overripe mango and other tropical fruits there. Green with increasing bitterness on the finish. Not the most intense beer out there.
Mouthfeel - Medium-full body, low carbonation, very crushable. Some astringent hop oils dance on the tongue at the close.
Overall - A beautiful and tasty brew from the Wood Brothers, however given their deep catalogue of excellent IPA's, I wouldn't rank Dive Barn as one of their best. Still worth picking up, should you find it in the wild.
