473ml can served cold into a pint glass. Durand purchase. Canned May 9, 2024.
Appearance - Very hazy golden straw brew with three fingers of foamy white head. Excellent staying power and a huge swath of spidery lacing left behind.
Smell - Dank and grassy with plenty of melon circulating. Passionfruit might be in there too as well as nectarine.
Taste - melon with some bitter citrus probably grapefruit in the finish. Ends way more bitter than the nose would give off.
Mouthfeel - Soft body, low carbonation, medium stickiness and feel overall. Juicy with an astringency dry and bitter finish.
Overall - Pretty good IPA as usual from Wood Brothers. Interesting in its bitterness, and heavy focus on melon flavors making this one of the better ones from these guys in the course of reviewing.
