473ml can served cold into a tulip. Purchase from Durand. Canning date of May 2, 2024.
Appearance - Super hazy and turbid yellowy brew with honey brown highlights. Two and a half fingers of foamy white head is poured with a great ring of sticky lacing. Phenomenal retention.
Smell - Dank and weed with some weediness, overripe mango, lychee and passionfruit. Intense aromatics.
Taste - Mango and passionfruit with plenty of hop oils lending itself to a weedy taste at times. Some wheat malt in the background, but more akin to fruit juice than anything else. Some booziness after a couple of sips.
Mouthfeel - Medium-full bodied, creamy and juicy, crushable with a long lasting finish. Some astringency from the hop oils on the tip of my tongue.
Overall - Wonderful DIPA, that is juicy full of flavor and aroma and drinks so easily. Possibly the best I've ever had from the Wood Brothers and that is high raise indeed.
