473 ml can served cold into a tulip. No canning date. Durand purchase.
Appearance - Hazy golden brew with three plus fingers of egg-shell white head that is rocky yet smooth in appearance. Excellent head retention. Curtains of lacing left behind after the head makes its gradual descent.
Smell - Light citrus, a hint of grape, nose is fairly subdued initially.
Taste - Citrus, mild bitterness, some earthiness and a grapey quality that would indicate Nelson Sauvin hops. Earthiness shines through and flavor is deep with low but sufficient bitterness.
Mouthfeel - Full bodied, with low carbonation and drying finish. Easy to drink and high quality all the way.
Overall - A nuanced take, but one of the Wood Brothers best IPA's they've released. the low bitterness but the depth of bitterness with plenty of earthiness, hints of grape take this another step up. Really good DIPA.
