Listed at 7.4% ABV. Canned March 12, 2025. Durand purchase.
Appearance - Hazy honey brown brew with faded white head. Short retention time with spotty lacing.
Smell - Plenty of citrus with cantaloupe and honeydew leading the way, a hint of berries and peach too. Fairly intense aromatics.
Taste - Melon and cataloupe join nicely here with a fuzzy afterglow of peach. Low bitterness, sweet and just plain tasty. Juiciness here is palpable in the flavor.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied, soft carbonation with a few stray hop oils going around and giving a little more vigor to this beer and leaving an interesting sensation in the mouth.
Overall - Really good IPA from Wood Brothers, nothing new to see. Uncle Leo hits all the right notes.
