Our flagship red ale is deliciously malty and sweet yet balanced by floral and citrus notes from centennial hops. If you are looking for an approachable ale with some body, don't think twice about Big Head Red.

Clear red/brown color with a decent off white head that retains fairly well.
The aroma is caramel with a hint of pumpernickel bread.
The taste is also caramel malt with hints of pumpernickel and some rye spiciness, slightly sweet, just a bit spicy, no real bitterness.
The body is medium, good carbonation, smooth and very drinkable. Altogether, this is a tasty brew, worked well with barbecued ribs, should go well with hearty food, nice for general drinking purposes, well done.
