Arrived with less than a pinky finger's worth of bone white head and that lasted less time than it took for me to write this down. Color was a bright, deep-gold with NE-plus clarity. Nose had a light sweetness and the mouth feel was thin, approaching medium. A slight sweetness on the tongue, followed by a crisp, dry finish. A good example of the style.

On tap at the California Brewer's Festival.
A - Nie golden pour with 2 fingers of white head. Sticks around and doesn't dissipate leaves slight lacing.
S - Honey, breadness, and light bittering hops. Brewer properly used gypsum to harden water and give the beer its proper twang.
T - Honey, breadiness, and bittering hops. The hops really shine through on the taste.
M - Full-bodied and well-balanced. Slight mineralliness from the water.
D - Great for the style. This brewery consistently makes excellent low gravity beers. Seek this one out if you appreciate good beer in sac town.

Excellent grassy German-style ale on tap at the brewery. Very fresh and quaffable. Clear beer with a light straw color. Mild but notable hop bouquet. Light and clean malt body. One of the best US examples I've had so far. Very clean, mildly bitter, and slightly tart aftertaste. Very refreshing.
This brewery is slowly but surely winning my heart, and putting Sac on the map. I highly recommend a stop if you're passing through. Cheers!
