A beer from you, Strawberry Sour Letter 22. Jam packed full of strawberries with a big creamy body, this is a bit too luxurious for a Tuesday evening but then, you probably deserve it don't you? The music plays, I'll sit in for a few.

Pours a cloudy, crimson red coloration with a medium, fluffy head. Smell is dominated by a certain strawberries and cream note. Taste is a good balance of sweet'ish strawberry notes and a rather tart lactic, citric acidity, with a hint of creamy lactose as well. Finishes with a medium tartness and some strawberry lingering in the aftertaste. Soft, velvety mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
I'm not a huge fan of this, to be honest. The strawberry notes feel just a tad artificial while the tartness and heavy-handed use of lactose also seem overdone. It's a nice enough Kettle Sour and while I do not mind this being rather one-dimensional, which is only typical of the style, it seems somewhat lacking in balance and a truly fresh, natural flavor profile.
