Pours a hazy, deep orange coloration with a large, fluffy head. Smells of biscuity malt and citrus/tropical hops, with notes of grapefruit, mango and some herbal and piney accents. Taste is a great balance of light biscuity malt and bitter, resinous and herbal hops, with some juicy citrus/tropical notes of grapefruit, lime peel, mango and papaya, as well as some pine. Finishes with a medium bitterness and some grapefruit, mango and pine lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
A very nice NEIPA that's quite juicy, but also bitter and resinous, with a great balance of citrus/tropical fruit and herbal, piney accents. This is just how I like my NEIPAs best, when it's actually kinda hard to tell if this even qualifies as a NEIPA anymore because it's so bitter and with very little sweetness, but still has got that hazy, juicy vibe to it. I sometimes wonder if this is a European quality in NEIPAs, because most American examples of the style I've tried are a lot more straightforward sweet and juicy, with very little bitterness or any piney, herbal notes. On the other hand, it also has the typical European flaws to it for the style, meaning that it's a little light-bodied and lacking that soft, pillowy mouthfeel.
