Pours a hazy, ruby red coloration with a large, foamy head. Smells of doughy malt and sour cherries, with a light woody note as well. Taste is a good balance of doughy malt and quite sour red cherries, with hinzs of earthy, woody undertones as well. Finishes with a medium/strong tartness and some red cherries lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a light/medium body and medium/strong carbonation.
Despite the three different yeast strains, I'm not getting much of a farmhouse character from this "Farmhouse Sour IPA". It's a Kettle Sour that's quite dominated by the cherry juice, although not feelingf too sweet at all and rather tart, while there are some earthy and woody accents to this as well that make it a little bit more interesting and not quite too one-dimensional. with an almost mouth-puckering tartness as well.
