Copenhagen 9/3 2023. 44 cl can from Kihoskh, Sønder Boulevard, Kbh. V. Purple can with a sketchy drawing of a Gong haning on a frame and a mallet ready to gong away.
Pours opaque, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as thin layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with sweet odor of ripe stone frits mingling with a more aggressive scent of citrus and pine. Peach with a whiff of fermentation. Sharp grapefruit with a touch of turpentine and resin.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger, zesty, citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a stingy streak. Acerbic, Lingers for a while. Finish is sourish and dry.
Zesty, juicy and fresh acquaintance.
