Pomona’s early work was a little too new wave for my tastes, but when this Pale Ale with Cryo Mosaic, Galaxy & Vic Secret came out in ‘24, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically.

Copenhagen 20/5 2025. 44 cl can from A Good Case web-shop. Black can with a drawing of a CD in light green together with the very long name of the beer.
Pours opaque hazy, slightly dirty yellow with a big white head. Stable. Settles as a 2 cm thick, fluffy layer of foam. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of sweet stone fruit and citrus fruit. Light tart notes. Peach, apricot and orange juice. Whiff of citrus.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed a nd balanced by a more miderate tart bitterness. Aftertaste is fruity and sweet with a tart undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is sem-dry.
Subtle and perfectly nice.
