Copenhagen 2/1 2022. 44 cl can from Mikkeller web-shop. A tombstone for the Pomona Island Brewery Taphous Wee Shop. on the can.
Pours opaque hazy yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as thin flimsy patch of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is intense and sharply citric and tart.Sou gooseberries, tart mandarin, citrus and light funky touch of musty gym bag and sour cheese.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a light sweetness followed by a strong citric sourness. Aftertaste is tart and sour. Lingers for a while into a dry finish.
More sour and tart than Indian Pale Ale. And dry like white wine.
