Zoe is a beautiful sour amber beer blended from one, two and five-year-old ales from our Chianti fouder solera.
Aromas of champagne, raspberries, vanilla and a touch of toffee. The palate is a balance of sweetness and tartness with flavours of raspberry-balsamic, caramel and a spicy pepper note. Medium-bodied with crisp dry finish and lingering acidity.

Copenhagen 14/2 2024. 75 cl capped bottle from Beershoppen webshop. Off-white label in Pennyallan's usual style with a drawing of a beautiful blonde in a Milo Manara inspired drawing style.
Pours unclear, murky amber with a mid-sized off-white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin, patchy layer fo foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet fruity odor soon overpowered by tart berries with a touch of vinegar. Sweet currants, vanilla, marzipan. tart gooseberries, white grapes and vinegar.
Light carbonation. Thin, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a light sweetness followed by a strong tart sourness. Aftertaste is sour. Lingers for a bit. Finish is dry but a bit thin.
Refreshing and tart without going to extremes.
