Dark Carmel color, rather effervescent. Reminds me of a dunkle. I’d get again in a heartbeat

An unscheduled stop...didn't even know they had a taproom here. Picked up a crowler and poured into Willi Becher pub glass about 4 hours later.
Looks clear and dark caramel-brown with ruby hues. 1.5 finger white head dissipates in a minute, minimal lacing.
Aroma is wonderfully fresh and slightly biting malt. Has a faint citrus character that later enhances some floral/berry.
Taste follows the aroma but to a lesser degree. Floral aspect is more noticeable on the exhale after a swig, and after letting it breathe for a bit. No harsh bite, and the amount of bitterness complements the malt and floral. Little to no alcohol taste.
Feels like a touch more carbonation would have enhanced both the aroma and flavor, but it's by no means flat.
The overall rating would have been higher if it had more carbonation to add more 'crispness'.
I liked this beer. Would I get it again? Yes to a pint, maybe not a crowler though, but only because I'd try another new-to-me beer from them.
