Modestly sweet body with relatively dry finish. Pronounced roasted notes with chocolate and coffee. Milder body without sacrifice of flavor. A perfect summer stout. Named in honor of the brewer's Mother in law and her oatmeal chocolate chip cookies.

A 16 ounce draft pour from the brewery into a shaker pint.
Look- Deep brown, opaque, medium brown creamy head, average head retention and lacing.
Smell- Cacao nibs, roasted malt, medium strength of scent, between weak and medium strength of scent.
Taste- Roasted malt, slight cacao nibs, slight coffee, weak strength of flavor.
Feel- Between medium and full body, moderate bitterness, average carbonation, mildly creamy, mildly dry finish, no mouth warming properties, mildly sweet.
Overall- This beer would have benefited from stronger aromatics and a more robust flavor. I have really enjoyed some IPA’s from this brewery, but this Stout missed the mark for me.
