A 16 ounce draft pour into a Willi Becher glass at the brewery.
Look- Pale gold, highly hazy, sudsy white head, above average head retention and lacing.
Smell- Grapefruit, pine, between weak and medium strength of scent.
Taste- Grapefruit, pine, herbaceous, high strength of flavor.
Feel- Medium body, average carbonation, highly bitter, moderately creamy, mildly mouth warming.
Overall- The appearance and feel characteristics were both very good and considerably above average. The nose was a simple mix of grapefruit and pine, but underpowered. The flavor was much more pronounced and a good representation of a simple WC IPA. All told this beer delivered an average drinking experience.
