330ml bottle from Beer52 box:
Quite a thick, almost full-bodied stout that opened quite sweet with some chocolate & plenty of oats in the early going before some vanilla showed towards the end to see things out. It was an earthy beer with some coffee bitterness around the middle & a few sugars dotted about the place too. The balance could have been better & I found a little too much alcohol to be showing at times, particularly in the early going but it wasn't too bad an offering despite not been one that I'd hurry back to.
