L- A nice deep/rich chestnut, clear, pours with a fine looking 1Cm fine-bubble pale tan head. (ps 15mins later, the head holds up really well).
S- I've some congestion but have no difficulty getting quite deep malts from this, over in the realms of demerara/muscovado sugar. There is likely some other finer scents my nose can't pick up.
T- Oh wow, it's quite hoppy-vibrant, yet malty, yet has a distinctly fruity middle (apple?) and a small and fleeting sour note into the finish.
F- It's 5.5% yet feels heavier. It has a pretty full-on roasty/deep taste yet part balanced by the briefly sour finish.
O- This was something quite different for me and all the stars somehow aligned very well. Deep yet 'bright' together, and all based upon just 5.5%. I can see this one being sessionable for some. There is zero here I notice our of place or balance. This is my first Brew Toon beer, and this bottle was bought from BeersOfEurope/UK for home delivery to me. 330ml bottle BB: 09/03/2021
