16 oz can dated 1/1/21 bashed into a tall pilsner glass.
Pours pale medium straw gold w/a very very light haze. Tight white 1/2 inch head becomes thin quickly. Good carbonation. Foam does not cling to glass.
Light malt nose with perhaps a bit of hot buttered caramel but really very little aroma.
It's taste is crisp, a quick hop bite that is snappy and bittersweet. Deep rich malts that go wide on the palate. Corn flakes, medium heavy body and here come those hops again but they are a mirror and not unusual. It remains crisp all the way to the end of the beer.
Feels gentle & smooth even w/it's zippy hop action. Nothing lingers to mask any other ingredients. It's all there like steps on a ladder. I feel the need for another as it is rather session-like.
My pilsner palate compares this American representative to Czech Budvar, Jever and Pilsner Urquell. Gorgeous! Well done!
