Having this beer on-tap at the brewery. This beer draws fairly hazy/cloudy, medium copper color with a white head that’s about an inch thick when first drawn and served. The new brewer at this establishment came over and talked to me while I was there and told me he is going to tweak some parts of the recipe for future batches of this beer so that the appearance is more true to the style, especially with the appearance in terms of the cloudiness/haziness. Head settles pretty quickly to a thin ring lining the inside of the glass. Barely any lacing to speak of. Aromas of some bready malts, and banana and clove and a bit of yeast and a light hop essence. The taste is pretty much the same, with some bready malts, some wheat, clove and banana and a bit of an earthy hop bitterness. Has a fairly crisp, yet smooth, medium bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Has a clean finish. Easy to drink in the way good beer ought to be.
