The word "lyuks" means luxury. Not much luxurious about this brew. Comes in a standard brown 33cl bottle with a fairly non-descript label. Ingredients conform to the purity law. Best before 11/6/03, I opened mine on 10/11/03.
Poured a clear medium gold under a thin white heaad that faded quickly to film, which managed to stick around for a good while. The nose is mildly malty, with a disturbing hint of what I could swear was rust. The mouth is medium carbonated, with what I can only describe as a "semi-light" body. It's not watery, but it's not really beery, either. The taste is very mild, but mainly malt, with a bit of harsh metallic hops. The finish is a smoother hoppy bitterness that leaves a decently refreshing aftertaste. If forced, I could drink this again. But I'd have to be forced.
