'If you don't like the style, don't review it...' Well, but I love the style! That's why I'm so disappointed with this beer, which is advertized as 'cold-maturated' (and I thought every lager is cold-maturated, not only this one named like a Japanese car).
Actually, it has not much of a smell, not much of a taste or aftertaste, almost no mouthfeel and I don't give it a single '1' by virtue of its total lack of individuality. In this case 'awful' sounds flattering.
Ah, well... Don't try it, guys!

.5 liter clear bottle, Moscow. This appears to be a Corona clone, from the clear bottle to the slightly skunky, "maybe-a-lime-would-improve-it" taste. Yet beyond that, there is a slight pale malt tinge to it thatÂ’s totally lacking in a Corona, so I will at least rate this higher than I did a Corona.
This and the Klinskoe Redkoe I had before had "hypnotic" labels suggesting this was an "extreme" line of beers, essentially clones of foreign styles of... pale lager. How extreme.

Well, I expected awful. Didn't get that, so I guess I'm pleasantly surprised. Comes in a tall clear half liter bottle with a colorful label featuring what looks like an Aztec sun and a spiral galaxy. The label trumpets the fact that the beer is cold filtered. Whooppee! Rice is an ingredient. Best before 7/23/04, I opened it on 4/9/04.
Pours a nice bubbly clear gold under a 1.5 finger what head with very nice contour and retention, and outstanding lace. Really looks nice. The nose, however, is full of adjunct grain and moldy bread. The mouth is light and prickly. The taste is bland: some bready malt, definitely rice, maybe some corn, too. No hops, the aftertaste feels like wet socks. It's an OK macro, as macros go. No need to ever get another.
