Juicy India Pale Ale w/ Mandarina Bavaria, Ekuanot & Citra
While the tools have changed from our parent’s generation to ours, communication itself remains unchanged. At it’s heart, it’s about a connection between people. A: Pours a hazy pale golden yellow in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and faint brassy + pale yellow colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall sudsy foamy white head that reduces to a medium sized patch of medium thick film surrounded by a large patch of slightly mottled very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Slightly heavier than moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Slightly stronger than moderate aromas of juicy citrus/tangerine, citrus/orange pith, tropical/papaya, and tropical/lychee hops over the top of light to moderate aromas of grainy + biscuit + caramel malts with a light amount of caramel + grainy sweetness.
T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of grainy + biscuit + caramel malts with a light amount of caramel + grainy sweetness. That is followed by slightly stronger than moderate flavors of juicy citrus/tangerine, citrus/orange pith, tropical/papaya, and tropical/lychee hops which impart a hint of bitterness which fades away very quickly leaving lingering tropical + citrus hop flavors.
M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation.Slightly crisp initially with a light amount of soft/fluffiness mid-body and a hint of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a pleasant mouthfeel. Enjoyable with a nice hop flavor + aroma combination.
