A decent enough little place, that's trying to become the local Iowa Hawkeyes bar - deciding whether that's an endorsement, warning, or irrelevant is left as an exercise for the reader.

The beer is decent (and some is award-winning), the atmosphere is fairly comfortable, and the bar staff are friendly.

Award winning barley wine, quint atmosphere, nice outdoor
seating, friendly staff, homey, and a beer style for just about
every taste that is well brewed within the style.

If I lived in Mason I would frequent this place, excellent first
experience!

A small neat little place. Like a neighborhood kinda bar but with their own brewed beer. Friendly staff, great people and good beer. What more can you ask for?
