The town of Seversk (previously known as Tomsk-7) is a closed nuclear city housing the largest nuclear power plant and weapons factory in the world. If you are not a resident of Seversk, you cannot go there. I managed to score a bottle of this "forbidden fruit" from a driver in Tomsk who lives in Seversk. He told me he is not allowed to invite his Tomsk friends over to his house for a beer. Think about it.
Came in a dark brown half liter bottle with a nice orange label. List of ingredients includes rice.
Poured a pale clear gold with an almost non-existent white head. Lace? Of course not. There wasn't much to the nose - maybe a bit of grain. The mouth was very thin but prickly. The initial taste was watery, with a bit of grain sweetness. There was no hops noticeable, no bite, no finish. The aftertaste was remarkably bland. Seversk may be a secret city, but they aren't keeping any secrets about great beer. You can have this one!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
