This one was interesting, surprised at the lightness of it all; body, aroma, and flavor were all very light, almost muted. It does drink more like a pale ale Stoned said - I get some lemony/floral vibes and a clear sense of coconut water, but overall was just not very impressed with this one.

good name, just my second beer from these guys, and it does have some tropical island vibes, big citrus to this, not overdone though, almost drinks more like pale ale than ipa, which im into, too many heavy hazy ones around, i kind of was immediately drawn to the lightness of this. yellowish, a little muted, frosted, and frothy. definite pineapple, meyer lemon, and raw coconut character to the nose, a little more familiar in the flavor, citra driven it seems, but also not without some bitterness, a little weedy dankness, herbal juniper and dried flowers too, rather full spectrum, not green at all, but perhaps most importantly, pretty light in body, hazy yes, but not starchy and thick, its dry, bubbly, and soft feeling without the weight so many of these have, which for me adds to the aloha vibes as much as the hop profile itself, nice. pineapple and orange juice, good balance, clean enough on the ferment but not perfectly invisible, light bread and dough to the yeast, juicy as it warms a little, overall well executed and i think distinct enough to stand out a little bit from the crowd. not epic, but a nice hazy, more summer than winter to be sure. looking forward to having more boss rambler stuff as they roll out here in idaho!
