Comes in a brown long neck half liter bottle with a pretty attractive yellow label. Ingredients comply with the purity law. Bottled on 4/26/03, I opened it on 7/31/03.
Pours a pleasant clear gold under a fairly firm white head that lingers as film across the top of the liquid for quite a long time but contributes no lace. The nose is sweet, with a raspberry soda twist to it that I found off putting. The mouth is very prickly and a touch on the heavy sweet side. The initial taste is fruity sweet, but by no means unpleasant. Malt emerges later, followed by a flowery hop bite. The aftertaste is more sweet than bitter, but there's a bit of hops here. Not a bad effort, really.
