Clear and straw-colored. Although technically an ale, this beer is clean and crisp like a lager. Noble hops are just detectable, while a nice malt flavor follows through to the finish.

5 oz pour at the brewery. Served in a straight-sided taster glass. Pours a clear light yellow with a small head. Aroma and flavor feature light grain and a surprising level of noble hops with more bitterness than expected for the style. Still a tasty beer for a hot day, but not quite what I was expecting.

Appearance:
Cloud white and lacey, the head stands two fingers tall and laces like fat raindrops spattered on a window. The body is a dusky gold, within which a scattered procession of unhurried bubbles make their way to the surface.
Bouquet:
Amber malts, crushed saltines, and a bready, dried yeast.
Feel:
Like inhaling a mouthful of mist: light, soft and a little crisp.
Taste:
Relaxed, herbal spiciness from Noble hops, coupled with somewhat vinous, grape-like malts.
Overall:
It’d be perfect alongside a big, soft pretzel dunked in hot mustard.
