Part of their dark series. This is the 6th edition.
"Sticky & Sweet"
Appearance - Pours a dark chocolate syrup brown with three fingers of frothy tan head.
Smell - Roasted malts, dark chocolate, cocoa nibs, vanilla, earthy hops, hints of graham cracker, toasted coconut, and marshmallow.
Taste - Heavy up front with the roasted malts, chocolate, and cocoa, with a balanced bitterness from the hops. I'm not picking up a lot of the other two s'more elements (graham cracker and marshmallow), but maybe they are represented through the roasty/toasty flavour of it and notes of vanilla. I get something reminiscent of campfire smoke.
Mouthfeel - Medium/full bodied with moderate carbonation. Sticky on the palate.
Overall - Maybe it's just me, but beers that promise s'mores always leave me wanting more on the graham cracker and marshmallow elements. It's a beauty of a stout though.
