This spiced pumpkin ale was aged in Romero rum barrels for eight full moons, taking on rich aromas of rum and bourbon, which compliment the sweet flavours of cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla. Big, bold and meant for savouring.

Pours a clear copper to ruby colour with a finger of tight bubbly off white to tawny coloured head.
Nose gives a definite pumpkin pie aroma - cinnamon, nutmeg - but with vanilla and rum additions, a touch of tanned leather evoking the freshly oiled baseball glove of my youth.
Sweet pumpkin pie spice, vanilla, rum, honey and toffee sweetness on the palate with notes of oak and some boozy heat.
Mouthfeel is full and sweet without being cloying, carbonation fades somewhat; warming boozy finish.
