Can from the source.
Dark brown bordering on black with a thin barely tan head that slowly recedes. Huge peppery coffee bean on the nose with a hint of brown sugar. Sweet earthy roasty toasty beans flavor. Smooth and tasty.

My second porter offering from Spyglass. Growler purchased at brewery. Pours nicely with dark head. Very pleasing aroma with detectable presence of vanilla. Pauses between sipping confer the coffee flavor as well. A nice beer; only criticism is that for some reason, I did not taste the vanilla/coffee consistently throughout the growler, but still a high level beer, I preferred it to Dark Matter, their other current porter brew.
