Vortex

Spyglass Brewing Company

IPA - Imperial / Double NEIPA

Pineapple and sweet orange hoppy nose.

Dense tropical, floral, and fruity hop flavors just burst out. Creamy and smooth feel. Earthy grapefruit and strawberry kiwi juice down deep in the finish. White haze within the opaque blonde color. Dangerous.

Purchased at Monadnock Food Co-op

16oz can dated 3/27/23.

Pours cloudy gold with an inch-plus head of white. Moderate retention and lacing. Yeasty citrus in the nose with unripe peach and melons. Medium bodied with a soft, chewy, chalky mouthfeel. Unripe citrus on the palate with minimal malt or bitterness. Dried peach, pear, pineapple skin. Finishes with faint banana.

Pours a hazy light orange with soft, fluffy head.

Smell is juicy and a bit sweet with notes of mango, grass, melon and vanilla with some herbal and dank hints.

Taste is juicy and grassy with a little bit of hop burn. Notes of mango, orange, grapefruit and melon with some dank and herbal hints. Soft bitterness.

Mouthfeel is medium, soft and pillowy, with good carbonation.

Overall, a terrific NE IPA/DIPA.

Decided to visit the brewery after hearing incredible reviews of Spyglass being the best in NH.

Cloudy bright orange haze. Tropical fruit smell with perfect head in a pint glass.

Soft smooth mouth feel with low carbonation and slight fermentation on the tongue.

Not disappointed at all after hearing the build up
