Poured into a 16 oz Snulip glass canned on 7/14/20. Pours a very hazy dark yellow with a 2 finger white head that leaves some spotty lace with excellent retention. 4.5
Smell cantaloupe, pear, peach, and apricot. 4
Taste follows cantaloupe, peach, pear, and apricot. 4
Mouthfeel is above medium, soft gentle carbonation, not sticky or dry, and 8.4% easy drinking. 4.25
Overall this is really solid, but not even close to my favorite from them. 4

From a 16oz can, dated 07/08/20. Served in a willi becher.
Pours a thick and murky appearing dull apricot colour with two-plus fingers of pouffy, lumpy, lathery head. Retention is excellent, leaving a thick cap of froth and a webbery of gobby lacing.
The nose is bright and sweet, ripe mango and, oddly, model airplane glue - hopefully that’s just me.
Taste is super-weedy, dank and rank. Reminiscent of the liquid that collects in the bottom of the compost bucket and burnt pizza crusts.
Feel is doughy, slick and slippery, medium-thick bodied with ample carbonation. Boozy warmth in the gullet.
Overall: not a big fan of this one.

16oz can dated 5/6/20.
Pours murky gold with a short-lived head of white. Minimal retention or lacing. Pear, pineapple, bubblegum, candied grapefruit, and a hint of tangerine in the nose. Medium bodied with a creamy mouthfeel. White grape, pineapple, and grapefruit on the palate. Finishes fairly dry with zero malt, minimal bitterness, and lingering tropicals.

I love the uniqueness of this IPA. Golden pour and dank nose. Citrus and pineapple notes with a medium mouth feel. Creamy finish and some complexity from the yeast. One of my favorites. -- Tastes a bit different than the first time I had it though.

Poured from a 16 oz can into a tulip glass.
Pours an opaque golden straw color with a finger of fluffy off-white head. The head leaves a ring of lacing before settling into a thin sheet.
The aroma is quite vegetal, with plenty of herbal notes of grass and earthiness. There's some overripe mango, pineapple, and apricot with a hint of oranges and tart berries.
The flavor follows the nose: Lots of grass and earthy notes, followed by some tropical notes of pineapple, mango, and apricot, with the faintest idea of tart berries. The finish is a bit nutty and spicy.
The feel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Creamy, yet a touch slick and oily.
Overall, this is a good and interesting DIPA. It's extremely earthy and dank with plenty of tropical fruitiness. There is a very subtle tart character which is unique but ultimately this isn't something worth seeking out.

This is one of the most interesting New England ipas I have had.. up here in New England ipas country. It is hazy and juicy but with an extra touch of funk.. the Aurora is an IPA brewed with an interesting Scandinavian yeast that creates a funky character that really pulls through and sets it apart in a exploding category.
