Luminescent is a 6.4% Sour IPA brewed with spelt, oats, and lactose, soured in the kettle, then fermented with Meyer lemon puree. Post fermentation it was conditioned on tons of vanilla beans, citrus zest, lavender and lemon verbena, and finally dry hopped with Citra and South African Southern Passion hops. This beer is lightly sour/tart, creamy from the lactose and vanilla yet tangy enough to come across reasonably dry. It's full of interesting aroma and flavors - a great beer for a hot Summer day.
