Poured into a 16 oz Nordic pint glass canned on 9/14/21. Pours a cloudy pinkish orange with a solid finger plus sticky off white head, that leaves a thin wall of lace with excellent retention. 4
Aroma passionfruit, must, strawberry, a hint of raspberry, and vanilla. 3.75
Taste follows strawberry and passionfruit stand out, with raspberry, must, and vanilla not bad, but wouldn’t grab again. 3.75
Mouthfeel is big and slightly grainy, plenty of life, maybe a little dry, and at 5.7% it goes down fairly easy. 4
Overall not loving this one, but don’t hate it either. I prefer the heavily berried sours and this one is a little more musty than I prefer.Spyglass Brewing is still a one tricky pony for me, but it is a really good trick NEIPAs so I am fine with that. 3.75
