Smooth, lighter than I expected. Nutty, malt taste and almost brown in color when held up to light.

Poured from a 16oz can into pint glass in October 2022. There was a canned date of 01/04/22 on the bottom of the can. I bought this at the brewery, and drank less than 1 week from purchase.
Appearance: Deep dark red/copper color with 2-finger tan head. It is deep with a very hazy complexion. Head is very thick, and it lasts a minute, leaving a small covering. There is a medium amount of lacing on the glass.
Smell: Strong aroma of malt and chocolate, as well as some hops and caramel. The malt and chocolate aromas dominates the other aromas.
Taste: Sweet taste from the malt with a moderate bitterness from the hops. The sweetness and bitter edge are well-balanced. Has a very nice after-taste that lasts a moderate amount of time. Overall a nice balance and very drinkable.
Mouthfeel: Thin body and average alcohol, which matches the 5.4% listed on the can.
This is a good porter. It has a nice mix of citrus, hops, and other flavors, which makes it enjoyable. I like the overall balance, and would buy this again.

Dark copper with faint orange at the edges, decent sized off white head that slowly dissipates. Earthy roasty dark caramel and toffee with hints of chocolate. Pretty nice Porter.
