I had stopped by Spyglass on 07AUG22 and drained an 8oz pour, for $5.50. Got a couple of 16oz cans to go, at $6.00 per. Canned on 02AUG22, fwiw... Enjoying the second of the two right now out in The 'Zebo....
Pours a cloudy (doh!!), muted, flat yellow/straw color. It's quite thick and murky, and I can't make out the carbo sitch. It's topped by a rocky, off-white 1/2" layer of foam. Slowly ebbs back to a covering layer, with solid lacing. Aroma is dank and citrusy, with semisweet notes of pineapple and grapefruit. Body is a hefty medium-plus, with a lovely, smooth and creamy feel on the tongue.
Taste is semisweet all the way... has some lightly crackery, biscuity malt but it's mostly fruit city. Mix together some tangerine, pineapple, apricot... and go from there! It's like a hefty layer of marmalade slathered on a slab of wholegrain toast! Goes down way too easily for a 12% ABV brew.... Scary!! Prosit!!
