Have had a number of pours of this already, both on draft at 'Glass but also from cans at home. This is the latter, in the comfort of my living room while watching some NFL action.... $5.50 for a 16oz can...
Sniftah is nearly filled.... the liquid within is a clear, deep, rich bronze color. Has some steady, fine carbo within, while up top sits a rocky, off-white 1/2" layer of suds. It slowly recedes, with A-1 lacing sticking around. Aroma is quite pithy and rindy. Has some pineapple and grapefruit, along with piney notes. Nothing much in the way of malts, though. Body is a lovely medium-plus, and it is silky smooth while traversing the tongue.
Flavor does have some nice, semi-sweet malts with a lovely, toasty lean to it. Then it gets back into to the rindy, citrussy, pithy mode the aroma displayed. The sweetness/piney combo lingers lovingly on the palate in the finish. Really digging this one..... Prost!!!
