Webby lace from the larger (3-finger) head. This settles to surface film of fine bubbles. The liquid is hazy, almost cloudy. Dirty gold color.

Earthy and weedy in equal measure. This is strong enough to cover any malt presence there might be.

There's a surprising sweetness on the initial taste. The hop isn't as strong as the smell indicates. Average body with an elevated carbonation level. The finish is bitter but with a creamy flavor. The aftertaste lasts longer than I expected.

I am trying this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a five sample flight. It poured a hazy golden with thin white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had pineapple and melon notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright sweet malt base with pineapple, mango, and melon presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.
