Yet another superb beer from this excellent brewery. I'm glad I found a shop that carries a lot of their brews. Will be stocking up for the holidays.

This one ended up with rather jumbled ratings on my part.
16 oz can acclimated to room temperature for 26 minutes and poured into an IPA glass.
Pours a beautiful, desaturated, very very light orange, nearly yellow. Produces a 3 finger, frothy white head, lasting a long time and leaving moderate lacing lines.
Initial aroma is hugely grapefruit and really nothing else besides maybe a hint of black pepper?
Initial taste is dominated by juicy grapefruit, becoming a fruity, astringent, and bright bitterness, as well as retaining a huge amount of juiciness from before, these tastes last into the finish, where they're joined by a note of light green grassiness.
Feel is superb. Wonderfully creamy and rich, with lovely small bubbles enriching the afformentioned textures. It really has a viscous flow to it, moreso than I'd expect from a double New England IPA!
Overall, it's good for what it is! Honestly, though, I wished for more tastes from it, and found it fairly one note. The tastes present, however, were excellent, and that mouth feel made it a joy going down!
Not likely to buy again, but I enjoyed it! Cool can art, too!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
