From a 0.75ml bottle, at $22, from the brewery....
Pours a dark, semi-opaque mahogany... has a short, slightly rocky head of off-white suds, mostly a rim-job. Lacing is present though light. Nose has caramel and toffee, with hints of brandy, maple and bourbon. Feel is medium, though I wish it was a bit thicker. Still smooth, though.
Taste has more malty toffee and caramel. Also has brown bread action, a smidge of molasses, light maple, and hints of brandy and bourbon, though light. Solid overall, though I was expecting a bit more complexity.... Cheers!
