Standard brown half liter bottle with a pretty fancy looking blue, white and gold label featuring just script and the brewery's seal. Rice is an ingredient. Best before 8/10/04, I opened it on 6/1/04.

Pours a clear deep gold under a short-lived one finger white head that leaves no lace and has no body. The nose consists of sweet barley and a touch of flowery hops. The mouth is well carbonated and medium-bodied. The taste opens with sweet malt, ever so slightly fruity, followed by a mild hoppy bite that gets quite intense if you hold the liquid in your mouth. The bitterness blends well with the malt to leave a refreshing aftertaste. Pretty good for a Russian strong lager.
