Phenomenal IPA from this brewery. Drinking from a 16oz can on 8/13, canned on 8/9. I've also had it on draft.
L: pours a very pale but vibrant hazy yellow, looks like a nice, refreshing cup of OJ.
S: Since I got I from the brewery 4 days after canning it has that bright, vegetal fresh hop smell that's so inticing. If you've ever smelled fresh hops you know what I mean.
T: First note is lemon rinds, then a candied orange, followed by melon, and that fades into a very interesting herbacious flavor that reminds me of rosemary. It's a unique flavor that I haven't experienced in a beer before. The bitterness sticks around in your mouth drawing you back in for another sip.
F: it's surprisingly easy to drink. It's light in the mouth and on the stomach for an IPA with this much flavor.
O: This is a great and unique beer. It's my favorite local IPA and honestly probably in my top 12 IPAs overall.
