On tap at Sager Beer Works in Rochester, NY.

This one pours a decently dark brown, nearly black color, with a tight white head, and lots of lacing.

This smells fairly basic - tepid roast, dusty chocolate, a touch of hop bitterness - it's not a bad aroma - it's just basic.

The taste is basically the same. It's a no frills basic oatmeal stout- of course, you get roast, you get some light chocolate, you get a touch of bitterness. It's well done, but it's no so well done that it elevates a basic style into something more.

This is light, crisp, and drinkable, with a fairly thin body.

There's nothing particularly wrong with this, it's just again - quite basic.
