On tap at Sager Beer Works in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a golden brown color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like nutty malt, some light dusty bitterness, and chocolate.
This is pretty down the middle for Sager’s strengths – it’s got a nice nutty and chocolatey malt character, without too much sweetness, and a sort of floral and almost “dusty” hop character.
This is medium bodied, kinda creamy, and crisp, with a nice drinkability.
Sager will never be world beaters locally, but they do craft some traditional styles pretty well.
