On tap at the Sager/Stoneyard Pub in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a slightly golden amber color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells lightly caramelly and biscuity, with some slight hop spice notes.
I’m always ordering a mild when I see one, and Sager, while not my favorite local brewery, is definitely a brewery that I would trust to get it right. This is lightly malty, bittersweet and bready, with just a touch of floral hop spice.
This is light bodied, very crisp, with a nice little smooth bite on the finish.
This is just a good drinking beer, nothing crazy, but well done.
