On tap at Fattey Beer Company in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a nice light orange-ish color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells slightly spicy, with toasted grain, and lemony hops.
This is definitely the sort of thing that I imagine Sager would do well. There’s a nice elevated but not overwhelming hop bitterness, with lemon, orange peel, and peppery hops. There’s a nice toasty and crackery malt thing going on, as well.
This is light bodied, crisp, clean and quite drinkable.
Sager goes under the radar locally but there’s definitely been a solid chunk of their beers that I’ve enjoyed.
